I found this funny mug at cafepress and knew my sister would love it. So I made a mug mat to go with it and will give her both for Christmas. The parts that look dark blue are actually purple. I have no idea why they look navy blue. I tried to match it to the mug as much as possible. I paper pieced the block because of all the small pieces and points. It is 5.5" square.

She also sells t-shirts with this design. She has some of the funniest quilting stories I have ever read and literally makes me LOL. Check her out.
