Making a pillow is actually very easy. I'm sure there are sites all over the net with info but, really, if you have any sewing experience, you can wing it. Here's my version:
Cut a coordinating piece of fabric the same size as your block. Pin them together with right sides facing. Stitch three sides completely. On the fourth side, stitch about 2-3 inches from each corner toward the center. Trim the thread ends and turn right side out. Stuff with filling. Now comes the hard part....fold the open, raw edges in and pin. You will stitch the two sides together about 1/8 inch from the edge. Done!
Hints: 1. When pinning the final stitch, gently tug the fabric while holding on to the corners of the pillow before pinning. 2. Mash the pillow center down as you sew the final seam so that it will fit under the machine and not get stuck. I stop every couple of inches and mash down so the pillow doesn't hang up on the machine parts.
