I know how to darn sock, thanks to my grandmother's teaching. I'm with BettyGee in blue jean repair. Hubby uses his old jeans when he car repairs, when the jeans get holes again I mend them, get more life. No since in using good jeans for dirty car work. Same for the t-shirts, the collars wear thin, I repair and he uses those for repair work on cars or building projects. Extend the life of clothes.
