I'm getting up somenerve to try applique soon.....maybe using the freezer paper technique but this dryer sheet thing seems simple enough. On one of the links posted, I read that freezer paper can shrink in the widths.....you should preshrink it by spraying it with starch and pressing first. Does anyone actually do this....so what if it shrinks, does it create a big problem or not? Which side of the paper do you spray and iron?
Applique is confusing to me...reversing the designs, ironing the freezer paper to the wrong side of the fabric....it's a lefty dyslexic thing for me.
