The lady that did the quilting didn't give me enough to do this. So it sat in a bag for YEARS.....until I found this wonderful site that gave me the courage to finish it by the wonderful hints provided by all the members. My grandmother passed away several years ago, so I couldn't ask her, my other grandmother had a stroke not long after finishing her block, but she's alive and is 96 yrs old.
We have overcast Alabama skies, but please enjoy the pictures.
I am proud of it because of the grandmother's contributions to it. I can not replace it, all the living great grandmothers are in their 90's and my mom is in her 70's, my son and his wife better take care of it.
