I only hesitated a lil before cutting up my wedding dress to make my daughter a purse. She will loan it to her sisters on their wedding day. I made Christmas ornaments for all 3 girls and now for my 2 grandsons. there is some dress material left and I will find a sentimental way to use it also. My style is not my daughters (3) so I see no reason to save it. We enjoyed picking out what made them feel beautiful on that special day.
I love the idea of a purse for each of the ones you want to give one to. For the little pieces, make those yo-yo pins as something old and dress them up into something fashionable.
