Occassionally we get hurricanes here in New England. Back in 1938 I had just arrived home from school when the down pour, and very high winds hit. A baby sitter Mother had was a business student at a local school. She lived in a town 25 miles from my town, and had decided to drive home that weekend. She got as far as Water Street!
