Too cute! What type of sewing machine is that? My old eyes think they read Janome, but not sure. I've not been impressed with the "child" machines I've looked at, but that looks like it is a cut above what I've seen. How does it perform? Isn't it great to know that you are passing on such a wonderful tradition to the next generation? My grand daughter (11 at the time) spent a week w/ me this summer and she made a 9 patch ragged edge pillow. She was involved in every step of the process from selecting fabric right down to clipping the seams. Must admit that allowing her to handle the rotary cutter was a bit scary, but I made her wear a Klutz glove and she could only use my small blade rotary cutter. We did alot of things together that week, but when asked what was her favorite part it was "learning to sew". Gotta love it!
