YES, i'M CRAZY TOO. I'd guess half of the quilts I've made contain 1" squares, but with only two exceptions that I made with all postage stamps, most of mine have 8" or 10" blocks of the squares surrounded by borders, sashings, etc. Women in my quilting guild think I must be crazy, but many save their scraps for me. I use the same technique of sewing strips together -- and I'd be happy doing this 24 hours a day.
