Hmmm, now about how I quilted. Wow, thats a hard one, b/c I just did it freehand, LOL. But to describe it, I'd say, I started with something like a "U" turned upside down, or like a horseshoe. Then I went back, making the bow a bit larger and then took a third turn. These three turns gave me the opportunity to chose my quilting direction better. When I wanted the pattern to go to the left, I started with a "U" from right to left. The good thing is, you can change the direction of your bows at ANY time. It's not noticeable when you're done, neither where the imagined quarters, which I marked with pins, meet.
