Yes, I did use my walking foot and followed along the ditch. It is a lot lot easier than trying to stay perfectly in the ditch!!!!
Try using some of your decorative stitches along the ditch.
The stitch you used to quilt your quilts is one of my favorites to use for charity quilts. The quilt in my webshots link is quilted with the serpentine stitch. The blocks in the quilt are extras from 2 other quilts.
