Go to the craft section at WalMart and buy a large piece of foam paper. The store where I live has them(Southwest Va).Mine is big enough for my sewing machine and the extension table to sit on. The table won't move around then.I also have a Brother SQ-9000 and it works great! I run a quilt shop and that's the machine I use. The feature that sold me was the foot pedal or no foot pedal part. I have MS and my feet don't work very well most days.
