i've been lurking and occasionally commenting, and thought it was about time i actually crawled out to say "hi". i'm a granny of 8, full-time certified registered nurse anesthetist, married for 42 years, and a fabric junkie. quilting entered my life when i was just a little kid--i had a step great-grandmother from Lancaster,PA, who gifted me with a couple of quilts, two grandmas from sweden who made quilts, and a mom who sewed. warm quilts from folks who loved me were second nature. now, i get to pass that on. don't have as much time as i'd like to sew/quilt, but someday i'll retire, and sew myself into a coma! hope to get to know you all on the boards, here.
