It's funny you mention the clothing thing, this customer said the same thing - she remembers her grandmother having clothes made from those same fabrics. :) The polyester was o.k. after I got the hang of it and understood how it wanted to play. Some of them were much easier to quilt over than others, so I just had to take it slower when quilting those ones.
