Yes, I used Warm & Natural cotton batting as well as cotton batting. It seems to have worked well in stabilizing the polyester tops to keep them from stretching. Some of the seams were very difficult and just seemed to stretch when the hopping foot of my longarm came up to them. I finally started trying to enter and leave each square once to reduce the incidence of that.
