But I wondered....did you use regular batting and what was used on the backs? Did you have a problem quilting through the bulkier seams or learn to avoid them? I want to start having mine quilted and I will probably tie some also.
Yes, I used Warm & Natural cotton batting as well as cotton batting. It seems to have worked well in stabilizing the polyester tops to keep them from stretching. Some of the seams were very difficult and just seemed to stretch when the hopping foot of my longarm came up to them. I finally started trying to enter and leave each square once to reduce the incidence of that.
