I think delivery confirmatiion is a joke. Last year I sent a Christmas gift to my dd in NYC. She lives in an apartment so I got confirmation and tracking. She stayed home the day
it was to be delivered. No package showed up. I went to my post office...called NYC post office. They pretty much said too bad. Couldn't claim the insurance. Because they said she got it.
Just this week, I sent a package to my mom. Looked up the confirmation and it said "Addressee has moved and left no forwarding address". Called my mom to see if she could talk to her mailman and she said why? She was wearing the apron that was in the package. Just glad it got there.
