It will be gorgeous. It's NOT yardage you have to count but you need to have six to eight REPEATS of the pattern. What ever yardage that comes to is what you need. I always get even more as I like to make the back the original fabric so you can see where the hexagons came from. Good luck to you. My first OBW was difficult until I discovered the secret to putting all of the hexes together! Have someone who has done it before show you how to get it so you are sewing straight lines only. It will not only make a big difference in looks but in frustration level as well. Good luck and enjoy!
