I'm about to wrap these tablerunners to present to workmates this morning, but am still amazed how different the same patten can look, merely by changing the colourway. I've played with 12"blocks, but that mostly creates positive/negatives of the same shape. It's really noticable on these 2 tablerunners, you wouldn't pick them as being made from the same pattern. I also see where I should have made the 'snake' turn in another direction in order to be more symmetrical. I don't think I wanted that to happen at the time. I'm also pleased that I was able to keep the zig-zag edge that makes them different.
I'm still a beginning patchworker, so please excuse my enthusiasm and awe.
