I just bought a used little gracie quilting frame cheap. I will set it up after the holidays my new sewing machine is in the shop anyway. The frame is 2nd hand but never been used looks brand new. I think I can learn on this frame then up-grade if I like quilting. My question is the instruction book says the max pattern width is 4". Where can I get these patterns? I am new to the quilting aspect of this so any and all suggests and or help would be great. Is this large enough to be worth while? Can you make your own patterns or does most of you just free hand?
