Thank You all so much! I depend on you to tell me if I am getting too "out there" on my fabrics.. LOL! I love color and textiles are a great outlet. I also enjoy landscaping design and gardening.

Each of my siblings are artistic in some way. My older brother works in metals, the younger one works in pen and ink, my older sister works with wood making beautiful furniture and the youngest sister is a painter and computer digitizer. It is very fun to see what each is working on.

To answer your question no it isn't hard. It is like sewing clothing. You just have to slow down and read each step before doing it. I change up things a little doing things my way. I wanted the purse to be washable so I made sure to use a fabric that would hold up to that. I also do a stitch down the sides, in the ditch, after the lining was in to hold it in place. It makes it very stable that way.
