LivelyLady.. on the inside wrap I used Thermolam which has a "core" of silver fabric then there is a batting type layer on each side, sort of needle punched together. For the outer wrap I used a stiff fleece that is sold by the yard and is pretty dense. so it is well insulated would be comfortable to carry on the lap and stay nice and warm in the carrier. Also liked the fleece to "support" the shape on the outside.
