kAlmost 7 yrs.,I paid $500 for mine. It had never been used, was in as near mint condition as you could get, and I have loved it.
My technician and I were talking recently, and he says the price has dropped on them now. He has several in his shop, and he thinks the average price if $300.00. Someone stopped in last Summer and showed him one they got at a garage sale for $10.00. I couldn't believe it! He thinks the seller of that machine didn't know what they were doing.
If it is in good condition, has a book with it, and sews well, that $300.00 isn't a bad price.
