My family and anyone who knows me knows I don't buy gifts. I only make things, sew, knit, crochet, cook, bake. I started making my gifts when I was a kid; made pillow cases, aprons for grandparents, aunts, everyone. Now it is expected of me. I am sorry that your family can't appreciate what you do, maybe one day when they see something you made with love they will learn to appreciate it. After all it is not really about the gift itself, it is about your unselfishness in giving a gift from your heart.
