Scrappy Quilts are also my favorite to make. It makes you really think about ladies years ago that set out to make quilts for there family, there were only so many pieces of fabric at a time and the color options weren't an option most if the time they just used or reused what they had. Also the time it took fir the construction of a quilt in those times, I'm sure it sometimes took years. Well enough of that I also do the pile method I think this makes it really fun constructing a quilt the truly ugly pieces always seem to just set of all the other beautiful fabric in the end!
