Hi Vanessa

Welcome to the group. You will find many, many talented and creative people here.

I am primarily a long arm quilter. I watch with awe the people who piece tops. I gravitate toward finishing the process. I would highly recommend that you consider a Homesteader in your research. Here is the website: http://www.thequiltingsolution.com/index.html

You can purchase the machine for free motion quilting (there is a stitch regulator option) or add the computerized Side Saddle. I have had my system for 18 months and love what I can produce. I quilt for a variety of charities (baby up to king size quilts); I sew on the system almost daily. The machine is a work horse

I am not a sales rep - just a happy camper when it comes to my Homesteader system. :D I believe the owner attends a quilt show in Kansas City - where you could actually go test drive the machine.

Good luck with your research.

Lynette
