I found this thimble for using under your quilt it's really light weight. I also need to feel the needle under the quilt , but this works great when I'm needing to get it done and can not rest my hands. i found it , at Keepsake Quilts, but I have not seen them ever again but they do have a web sight. www.quilterslittlehelper.com. I also use a goat milk salve on my fingers that works really good, it is made by a lady who lives in the same town as I do. It is called Comfrey & Calendula Salve.
