Since I was a small child, I have always done some kind of handwork, mostly knitting, crocheting, calligraphy, painting, drawing, bead-making, cross stitching, sewing clothing and household items, and quilting. I pray I always am physically able to work with my hands! I never tire of being able to imagine a project and then make it come to life! Quilting seems to take the longest of all the crafty things I do or have done, but it is most satisfying to me at the same time.
