My main pet peeve is that I go to my LQS, buy their "expensive" muslin and it's thinner than the Kona muslin from JoAnn's. I have bought other fabrics from quilt shops and it's thinner, ravels more, and doesn't feel as hefty as fabric from JoAnn's. So we pay more for less...we're paying for a name.
