It was a yours mine and ours family, but everybody was his child, we were really lucky love struck him, he took on four kids, and raised them as his own. The oldest was 6 years old we he and mom got married, I was three. Miss him to this day, he was the only father I ever had.
Our marriage is also a mine and ours, but my two older sons have considered my hubby as THEIR dad and he has NEVER distinguished a difference from mine and ours to this day (even with his retirement money,lol!! It's divided up EVENLY between them if it comes to that which I hope is a VERY long time from now.) I know both of my ex's gave him a rough time over the years, but he'd told me sooooo long ago that he didn't marry me for my past, but he was marrying me to have a FUTURE with. You gotta love a guy that tells you that!!
