I've looked a lot of tutorials online..what am I doing wrong? I like stitching in the ditch so that I don't see the stitch lines on top of the piece. I have pinned down the binding and then slowly go along. It ends up a mess..uneven, missed stitches etc. and I have to go back and touch it up.

I do a zig zag stitch to sew mine down so it catches both sides nicely, otherwise, I would have the same problem you have. What stitch length are you using? I also make mine longer, that helps too

Any ideas?? Merry Christmas!!
