I have been wanting to tie a quilt and one that I have ready for quilting is a log cabin pattern. I would like suggestions on where to place the ties; i.e., in the middle of the block or several places on each block? The blocks are 12" each. I hope I'm being clear in my questions. If not give me a nudge and I'll try to phrase it better.
Also, should I use a medium loft batting? I use Warm and Natural for all my other quilts.
