I live in the mid-Atlantic , in Southeast Virgina. We rarely get measurable snowfall, especially in December. I have lived here 42 years and we have never had more than a dusting of flurries on Christmas day. The closest we have come is 5 inches the day after Christmas in 2002. Well, right now there are 2 1/2 beautiful inchesof snow outside with more falling!! YAY!!! It started about 3pm Christmas Day - stopped for a while, then started in earnest about 8pm. We are expecting accumulations up to 10 inches with snow falling from now through Monday morning. This is such a great Christmas present for all the kids and those who are kids at heart!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!
