I have a pair of those too. I thought I could have used it to cut my cardboards used in my cake baking, but ZILCH! Doesn't work. I also have two pairs of the electric scissors (why 2??)that I used eons ago in cutting double knit. That stuff used to ruin the edge on shears SO fast.
I suppose I could put them in the cupboard with all my "evolution of coffee pots" -- drip pots, drip-o-lators, percolators, etc. I just can't seem to part with any of them.
