DD and I did this years ago. You use starch to hang it. If you do a google search for 'Fabric as wallpaper' lots of links come up.
When DD moved (rental) we just pulled down the fabric. I washed it a couple of times to get the starch out. I made a quilt with the fabric and have more in my stash.
