Hi everyone. I have a new quilt that I just finished after about 2 months (off and on) work. I have helping my wife (Judy) with a couple of her quilts since my first quilt (sudoku) last spring. This one is an origional design. I got the inspiration from a book clip art of Chinese Folk Designs from Dover Publications. the quilt is titled Chinese Junk. The quilt is
66 x 80 inches with 792, 2 inch squares. The quilting is the folk art, birds, butterflys and bats in the sky (of course), dragons in the sail and the hull of the junk, and fish is the water (again of course). The border is quilted with 5 different chinese junks. Unfortunately, the quilting is not seen very well in the attached pictures. The quilted figures were pulled from a CD of the clip art into Brother's PE Design (version 7) then digitized into embrodery format. See ya.
