This quilt is for a friend I grew up with. Her son received one of the 2009 Christmas quilts that was delivered late:

She loves purple. When we saw we were enjoying quilting we knew we would want to make quilts for all of our friends and family, so we started collecting purple yardage and FQ for her. When we started putting the purples together we hated them, so we decided a touch of another color would spruce it up. We found the paisley that ended up becoming the inspiration fabric and went in a totally different direction, but this is one of our favorite quilts so far. The pattern is Yellow Brick Road.

Binding is from Blank Quilting Inspiration line
