My 29 yr. old son is the same, computer geek, bought a house, only furnished the family room and bedroom because those are the only rooms he spends time in. I made him a fleece/flannel blanket for Christmas to keep him warm while he's watching TV. He's visiting us for Christmas and hasn't let that blanket out of his sight! I made him a queen size quilt for his bed years ago, it never leaves his bed, I'm surprised it's still in one piece!
