Thank you all for your suggestions. I just finished my first free-motion stippling on another quilt and it looks "ok" not great. Still hesitant to use it on these. Maybe I will try it on the wall hanging and see how it looks. Quilting on the diagonal would be much easier. Hmmm decisions decisions decisions!!! :)
