Thank you, all of you, for the many kind compliments. This is only the second fabric portrait I have done (I'm also learning to digizitize photos for embroidery). I took a class at www.quiltuniversity.com with Marilyn Bedford. You can see her work here: http://www.marilynbelford.com/

Marilyn is starting another class at quiltU on Feb. 18th and it's only $46! She's a great teacher providing both printed instructions and lots and lots of feedback on the class bulletin board, which works much like this board here. I encourage anyone interested in learning to do this to give it a try. It's really much easier than it looks!
