Thanks for the responses. I took my hubby to the consignment shop on 12/24, but they were closed until today. We went back today - 2 trips since they were not open at 30 minutes past their opening time. We tried to negotiate the price and were told they mark things down on the first of the month and don't bother the owners of the items until then. We were told to come back and check after the first, but they won't actually be open again until the 4th. It's already been marked down from 100.00 to 60.00 and we might pay that but the machine needs some major cleanup work. I couldn't believe they weren't willing to contact the owner. Thoughts??
