I am with you on this.... I embroidered a towel for my SIL, two years ago, to use for Thanksgiving and she said thanks and shoved it into the kitchen drawer while I was standing right there!!! On top of that, it hasn't been brought out for any of the Thanksgivings since!!!
I will make only for my sewing friends or for myself now....
That toss to a drawer was like getting hit by a brick!...
