There is a lot of meaning in all that you have written. I have been on both ends. I made the mistake of not acting surprised when my children gave me a purse that I wanted. It was not THE one I wanted. And of course disappoint showed on my face. I am not a good actor. I do love the purse and I did tell them it was just the one I wanted. Which after I got home and was checking e-bay, it was the right one and I had to tell all that IT was the one I wanted. My children are a mixed bag when it comes to home made or store bought. I just give because I enjoy it. Regift if they want to. Its there's. Quilts I will never turn away from. Happy New Year to all.
