I think this goes back to the fall posting that we used to say grace before gimme gimme.
It is the thought that counts. Some one cared enough to think about giving a gift.
I do add that if something I give will make someone they know happier that they are welcome to pass it along. And the great feeling is that they too are thinking of someone who will enjoy the love and time that I put in to the gift.
I have learned not to be hurt. In this crazy world more and more people are forgetting the Golden Rule.
