Welcome from Arizona. I would suggest taking a beginning quilting class. I learned so much when I decided to take up quilting (would have never guessed). You will learn things you never thought about and trust me, these lessons will make all the difference in your finished product. Enjoy it...you will soon be a quilt addict. lol
