I decided to make my mum a lap quilt for Christmas and was very pleased with the way it turned out. It is only my third quilt, and I discovered a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, because I forgot all about starting in the middle when adding borders, so it is a bit wavy around the edges! But she really liked it. Now have to start thinking about making one for my son - a quilter's work is never done lol.
