Yes, that is the definition of a fabric-a-holic! We buy fabrics just because-------we love the print/color, it is too good a sale to pass by, I have just the project for it at home (then it gets put in a long waiting line behind other projects and eventually, you decide you didn't want to make it after all), You bought extra just because it was the end of the bolt and got even more discount to take it all, --- get the picture? Also, when following a pattern's yardage requirements, there is usually at least 1/4 - 1/2 yard or more left over (especially if your like me, I "squeeze" every inch of space when cutting to save fabric). Then there are the basic blendables and tone on tones you just know you will use someday in several quilts-and they are on sale-so you just buy them! I am SO guilty of all these "excuses" to buy fabric without a specific project in mind, or just because----- and I don't offer any apologies for it! LOL
