I'm making (okay, I'm STILL making) a lap robe/throw for my daughter's school room, and with so many colors in the applique I don't want to take the time to always be changing the spool thread.
Does the Invisible thread really hold up with frequent washings? With a room full of 7 year olds they bring in and happily share all sorts of germs, so washing it after almost any use will be a hardship if the threads come out. If the experts on this forum tell me "No way" then I will do the thread color change.
And you do put regular thread in the bobbin, don't you?
