I don't care for invisible thread for many reasons but especially for quilting. I know you were initially talking about using it for the applique but I teach second grade and know how this quilt will be used and loved. I have seen invisible thread slice through the fabric of a quilt when it gets tugged as someone adjusts how they are sitting.
