You could just tie it. That's what I did when I first started out. Just pin baste and put a tie in each of the little blocks where your sashings intersect and then maybe one in the center of each heart. Check the recommended distance on the batting bag, some say as close as 4 inches, others say as much as 10 inches apart. It's very pretty.
