If it were me, I would go from corner to corner without stitching over the hearts and then from top to bottom and side to side so the lines radiate from the heart. I would simply outline around the outer heart to give better definition. I would SID around the sashings. Just an idea and don't be worried, I am sure your quilting will be just fine!
